Inspired by the signature van der Bloom bouquet, this session explores a garden-led approach to hand-tied bouquet making — natural, expressive, and softly structured.

Rooted in the feeling of a “gathered field,” the bouquet emphasizes depth, layering, and organic composition, allowing each stem to move with intention.

This class focuses on the essential technique of hand-tied floristry, a core foundation for all bouquet work.

Participants will learn how to:

• Spiral stems for structure and stability

• Create natural movement and flow

• Balance color, texture, and proportion

Guided by Summer, the session reflects her intuitive yet refined approach, shaped by years of experience at van der Bloom — blending technique with a sensitivity to seasonality and form.
